ENG: The brief for this project was to rename the current bartending programme (Shake Your Future), to design a new logo for it and create a campaign to promote the new rebrand. It was important to do solid research and consider the target audience, as well as being mindful of what the client wants and find a solution for the campaign to promote the rebrand.
I renamed the programme into ‘Blend It Up’ as the idea was based on the fact that when you are making drinks, you are essentially blending up all these different things to create something new and unique. This can tie into people attending the course and creating new and unique experiences.
Based on my research, one of the better places to promote a bartending course is a nightclub, and I wanted to design my rebrand based on ‘nightclub aesthetic’. I wanted it to be bold and bright, yet simple and clear. For my typography, I chose a bold typeface, and I combined it with an unconventional and almost swirly typeface that represents the movement of blending things up. I kept the colour palette simple but effective, a combination of darker colours and bright, almost neon colours to match the nightclub aesthetic.
For my promo campaign, I took it a step further and created a concept for a game app. It's a Pokémon GO-style game, but you take photos of 3D fruit found around the town. Once you collect all the fruit, you get access link to a brand new website for the programme. This concept combines reality and 3D elements, blending both worlds together.
Overall, this project was interesting, and it definitely challenged me to think about client needs and the whole story behind my design choices. It also allowed me to explore and create once again in Blender.
CRO: Zadatak za ovaj projekt bio je preimenovati postojeći program za barmene (Shake Your Future), osmisliti novi logotip za njega i kreirati kampanju za promociju novog rebrendinga. Bilo je važno napraviti kvalitetno istraživanje i uzeti u obzir ciljnu publiku, kao i imati na umu želje klijenta te pronaći rješenje za kampanju koja će promovirati rebrand.
Program sam preimenovala u "Blend It Up", jer se ideja temeljila na činjenici da prilikom izrade koktela zapravo miješate različite sastojke kako biste stvorili nešto novo i jedinstveno. To se može povezati i s ljudima koji pohađaju tečaj, jer i oni stvaraju nova i jedinstvena iskustva.
Na temelju svog istraživanja, zaključila sam da je jedan od boljih prostora za promociju tečaja za barmene noćni klub, pa sam odlučila da moj rebrand bude inspiriran "estetikom noćnog kluba". Htjela sam da dizajn bude hrabar i svijetao, ali istovremeno jednostavan i jasan. Za tipografiju sam odabrala podebljano pismo i kombinirala ga s nekonvencionalnim, gotovo kovitlastim fontom koji simbolizira kretanje i miješanje. Paletu boja sam zadržala jednostavnom, ali efektnom – kombinaciju tamnih i jarkih, gotovo neonskih boja koje odgovaraju estetici noćnog kluba.
Za promotivnu kampanju otišla sam korak dalje i osmislila koncept za mobilnu igru. Radi se o igri sličnoj Pokémon GO-u, ali umjesto Pokémona, korisnici fotografiraju 3D voće koje pronalaze po gradu. Kada sakupe svo voće, dobivaju poveznicu za pristup novoj web stranici programa. Ovaj koncept spaja stvarni svijet i 3D elemente, doslovno ih "blenda" zajedno.
Sve u svemu, ovaj projekt mi je bio zanimljiv i definitivno me potaknuo da razmišljam o potrebama klijenta i o cijeloj priči iza mojih dizajnerskih odluka. Također mi je omogućio da se ponovno izrazim i stvaram u programu Blender.
