ENG: The brief was to find a project we dislike, identify the problems with it based on the research, and create a strategy and a solution to fix it.
For my project, I chose a local cake shop branch to do a rebrand. I gave it a new name, logo, typography, colour palette and overall new image of how I think a cake shop should be represented.
For the new logo, I decided to illustrate a cute “cake friend” to represent what cakes should be - fun and bring a smile to your face!
The new colour palette is softer and easier on the eyes, the aim is to have people look at it and think of cakes and desserts.
Overall, I enjoyed this project a lot. It was my first time doing a whole rebrand, and I think it went incredibly well. I am very happy with the outcome, and this project was definitely what made me interested in branding!
  
CRO: Zadatak je bio pronaći projekt koji nam se ne sviđa, identificirati probleme na temelju istraživanja te osmisliti strategiju i rješenje za njegovo poboljšanje.
Za svoj projekt odabrala sam lokalnu slastičarnicu i napravila njezin rebrand. Dala sam joj novo ime, logotip, tipografiju, paletu boja i potpuno novi vizualni identitet – onakav kakvim smatram da bi jedna slastičarnica trebala izgledati.
Za novi logotip odlučila sam ilustrirati slatkog "prijatelja kolača" koji simbolizira ono što kolači trebaju biti – zabavni i takvi da izmame osmijeh na lice!
Nova paleta boja je nježnija i ugodnija za oči, s ciljem da kod promatrača pobudi asocijacije na kolače i deserte.
Sve u svemu, jako sam uživala u ovom projektu. Ovo mi je bilo prvi put da radim potpuni rebrand, i mislim da je prošlo izvanredno. Jako sam zadovoljna konačnim rezultatom, i ovaj mi je projekt definitivno probudio interes za brending!
